The study highlights on how geomarketing becomes a crucial element in the management
of business model (BM) of an established retailer on the market. A business model involves a
system of components and a function of relationships between the elements. The business model
has a relationship also with its environment and takes advantage of opportunities from where it is
placed and tries to mitigate the risks that arise. Geomarketing is an aspect that utilizes
geolocation in the planning and implementation process of marketing activities. It can be utilized
in any aspect of the marketing mix. Market segments can also correlate with location, hence
being helpful in targeted marketing. In the financial sector, marketing is used to identify ATMs

data on stores of different sizes in that the role of marketing is characterized in terms of
perception by store managers of BM of current food retailers as an element of the driving force
of innovation of the BM. A BM is taken to be the primary driving force of an enterprise
regardless of its field operation and is significant for the performance of any organization.
Understanding the connection of the elements in forming an integrated system helps the synergy
created collectively. If the advancement in technology or market conditions leads to a
distribution change, then the first step to reconfigure the BM would be to examine the connection
of this change with the store format and its activities in the locality, to optimize value creation
under given conditions. For a retailer with online and offline outlets, BM elements like the
internet and a well-conceived database of customers, help to track consumers via multiple stages
of the buying process. This requires the retailer to have a robust economic position so that the
direct relationship with suppliers and customers can act as a coordinator of bilateral platforms.
Retail BMs and formats are changing continuously, attracting interest from various stakeholders,

including investors, developers and customers. The study area used is the City of Bratislava,
located in the southeastern part of Slovakia. Different retail outlets were analyzed according to
location.

parts on which it wants to execute a market exchange. It evaluates this part based on potential
data showing the existing differences between individual market parts and specifics of each of
them. According to such a market deconstruction analysis, it therefore can estimate the expected

features might not be adequate if the business relies mostly on content marketing. This makes it
difficult for the audience to be kept engaged with regular updates and blog posts.
