The management of a local restaurant (preferably one where you have been a customer) has hired you as a marketing consultant. They want to build a brand around their business. You need to think how you will brand around a business of your choosing and how you will market this brand (through Internet, social media, email, etc.) Choose an independent restaurant that you and your peers or family frequent (no fast food chain outlets). Create a PowerPoint presentation to show management how they can begin to build their brand image. Include the following items in your presentation: Slide 1: A picture of the business and a short description of its image. Slide 2: A description of the physical attributes (e.g. ample parking, nice atmosphere, convenient location, large menu, etc.). Slide 3: A description of the risk reduction utilized by the business (e.g. things like guarantees, money-back promises, etc.). Slide 4: A description of the benefits customers should expect to receive (these are the intangibles and the emotions that are created by this business that attracts customers). Slide 5: A promotion of your choosing to increase traffic or purchase rates at the restaurant (e.g. a coupon, buy one get one, etc.). Include a functional voice over recorded by you (a promotional spiel, a motto of the business, an advertisement, etc.). Slide 6: A recap of your main points with a voice over recorded by you (a promotional spiel, a motto of the business, an advertisement, etc.). Slide 7: Explain your marketing strategy (Internet, social media, etc.) All slides: should be illustrated several times with animated gifs. Remember! A product has three characteristics: 1) Attributes 2) Benefits and 3) Risk reduction. Be concise and to the point so that your reader will remember the message and will receive the meaning. Use bullet points rather than full sentences. You are looking for differentiation. What makes this restaurant different from its competition? These are the things that should be emphasized throughout your presentation.
