Assessment 2: A complete business plan report, including financial aspects (70%)
The written assessment is to write a complete business plan, including financial aspects, because
business plan can combine both the knowledge of marketing and finance taught in this unit. The written
assessment is in support of Learning Outcomes 1, 3 and 4. Writing a business plan is also good to
develop students' ability in communicating with people in the real business world. The written
assessment (2,500 words) is due in 12:00 noon on Friday 5 May 2017 (CAP Week 2). 2,500 words
include appendices (if there are any). A bibliography is expected. The report needs to be printed out
and submitted to your course administrator in park building 2.14 and an electronic version on Moodle.
