1.   We have discussed the importance of innovation for company growth.  What about recruiting and retaining employees/talents within the company?  Can innovation be used to attract talents?  How?  Please explain and state your rationale.

2.   Have you heard that accidents drive innovation?  For example, the antilock brake was invented based on accidents. The automobile is a good illustration of what drives innovation. There were no signal lights in early history of automobiles. Signal light was one of the greatest inventions to enhance not just the value of the product but the quality and safety of the product.  Can you think of other examples that resulted from accident but deliver great value?

Should we take priority on innovation that will improve the product value? Why or why not?

3.   How can organizations develop innovations through individuals and teams that meet customer demands? What entrepreneurial behaviors are important for individuals and teams to identify and exploit opportunities?
