Running Head: MOBILE MANUFACTURING COMPANY 1

MOBILE MANUFACTURING COMPANY 2

Mobile Manufacturing Company includes all the aspects like collecting requirements, designing and manufacturing of various mobiles. It also has a separate company site to interact with the customers so that they can browse for the products, select and order them. Reviews can also be taken from the customers on the mobiles. It also provides various software upgrades and releases new advanced features. I chose the project mobile manufacturing company because it deals with both the software and hardware related aspects. In my research I was also curious about various technologies that are used and the future initiatives of the mobile companies.

1) What value does the business derive from its information technology?

Information Technology plays a very important role in a mobile manufacturing company. The new technologies that are used by IT team helps the business to improve its strategies and it also helps the all the people to communicate effectively in the organization there by enhancing the business productivity.

Business Improvement

The value of business gets improved by involving IT, which helps us to resist the duplicate work in an organization; it helps us to implement various technologies like compression techniques, chip designing, Image processing for the facial recognition, and noise cancellation by amplifying the main sequence. All the above features improve the value of business.

Enable business strategies

By using IT the business is enabled by transforming to a new level. In order to improve the business transactions the IT plays a major role, it provides various tools like OALP to identify various patterns that are followed by the business. It helps to create a CRM and a data base management systems that are used for storing huge amount of data, various products, new versions, various o.s and in-depth features. It also provides various data encryption techniques for enhancing the security, which is an important concern in the mobile business (Eileen Rojas, n.d.).

Estimate Risk

IT also contribute to analyze various concepts of the business team and to estimate the risk-level and future scope (Marisa Peacock, 2013).

Infrastructure to enhance business value

IT also plays an important role to create software, middleware, communications and data available for the smooth running of the business. The infrastructure is very important to enhance the business value.

Marketing or improve the social networking strategies

The Marketing is improved by creating a Web based User Interface so that customers can browse through the products, search the various information related to the products and buy the products online. The customers can even post their feedback by reviewing the posts.

Build Relationship

IT helps the company to build the relationship with various teams in an organization. It helps all the teams to communicate effectively by sharing their views and goals of the business team.

Frameworks

IT helps the business to create frameworks, which include how to build, connect and run the software. It helps the business to manage and secure various mobile applications that are developed by the company. It also helps the business to protect their sensitive data. IT helps the business to provide various multi-channel access to retrieve the data.

Integration

If the business is expanding vastly, then IT helps the business people to integrate various systems that are related to the different branches at various locations. It helps the company to invest appropriately in the projects. It also helps the company to determine the ROI and employee productivity (Eileen Rojas, n.d.).

2. How effective are communication channels between the information technology department and the rest of the organization? (Module Two)

In a mobile manufacturing company communication is considered is a key aspect for obtaining the success. There should definitely be effective communication channels between the information technology department and the rest of the organization. In the mobile manufacturing company, the other departments that have strong communication with the IT department are Design Department, Business Department, Finance Department, Testing Department, Marketing and sales Department and HR Department.

Business Department

The business people are responsible to set the objectives of the company based on the user requirements and understanding the insights. Effective communication between the IT and the business team is very important to create a user interface in order to interact with the customers effectively. While developing a plan to contribute to the business needs IT plays an important role by providing various tools to analyze the results. So that they will be able to categorize the target audience based on their priorities, tastes and customization level.

Design Department

The IT department must design the models of the mobiles and its cases based on the instructions given by the IT department. The model design developed to support the software and the chips implemented by the IT department. The hardware engineering team is responsible to implement the design and actually develop the model of mobiles.

Finance Department

In order to make a proper Cost estimation by a mobile manufacturing company, the involvement of an IT department is very important. IT team helps the finance department to make a decision on how many features shall be implemented and what feature implementation takes how much cost. IT also helps the finance department to decide the kind of provider to be supported by this mobile. Whether to implement 3G, 4G or edge. One of the other important aspects where the involvement of IT department is needed is to decide what is the implementation of the feature based on the location. For example, based on the locations like US and Europe the same operating system must work in a different way. So, the cost estimation is done based on it. As they manufacture the mobiles the kind of processors used is also very important to estimate the budget.

Testing Department

In order to decide what kind of testing shall be used like whether it should be a manual testing needed or an automated testing is required. IT department has to deal with the testing team to make sure that appropriate test scenarios have to be used.

Marketing and sales Department

The IT department initially have to demonstrate their products to the marketing department so that the marketing department will be able to advertise the product and if any one is willing to buy the products the sales department will come in to action. All these results are analyzed by the IT department to make any required changes.

Human Resources Department

Human Resources department usually deals with the employee details, their salary details, they are responsible to grant the leaves and hikes, their joining details etc. IT department is responsible to provide various tools to support their database, to store data, retrieve the data, update the data etc. Data encryption techniques might also be used to provide protection to the data. If the HR department face any issues related to the data retrieval they need to concern with the IT department.

3. What is the overall communication like from the executive leadership down?

Communication of any information in any mobile company is done from higher levels of organization. Any information is communicated from higher authorities of the mobile company and it is a chain system or the tree process of hierarchical communication. Any information that need implemented in the mobile company is first communicated from the chairmen who has the authority to take decision. Chairmen mainly communicate only with the next level of the mobile manufacturing company that is CEO. The decision-making information would be communicated through the meetings and the information that need just to be communicated would be done through mail. CEO mainly focus on the business benefits and competitive advantages. The new initiative processing for the mobile manufacturing company would be considered as a whole to find the benefits of it to the company as a whole. The same would be communicated to the next level of the mobile manufacturing company that is to the general manager to take the actions on the decision made. General Manager needs to communicate to all the respective teams to implement the decision made by the higher authorities. The next level of general manager includes operation manager, financial manager, marketing manager, IT manager, HR manager, which have specified responsibilities. Every level of it also has sub division and specific responsibilities to implement the process. Every level have specified responsibilities like financial manager manages the finance team, marketing manager manages sales team, accounting manager manages accounting team, IT manager manages IT team, HR manager manages employees. Every Team has a group of employees that finally work to implement the product initiated by the mobile manufacturing company (Khoon Lay Gan, n.d.).

Communication within team is maintained by the group email ids or by group chats.

Every team also have lead to manage the team to work excitingly with tactical plans and have authority to communicate with the higher level that is to the manager. The communication is always maintained by scheduling the meeting at times needed or for the crosstalk to make any decisions and through emails. Every level in the mobile manufacturing company has authority to communicate to its immediate higher level. All the information and the mails are maintained confidentially (Khoon Lay Gan, n.d.).

After every level of implementation of new process, reports would be generated and communicated to the respective higher levels for the approval. The reports are reviews and feedback would be communicated to proceed with the next process or to work on the feedback provided. Reports would be generated depending on the process of the mobile manufacturing company that could be on monthly or quarterly bases and over all benefits are calculated. Accordingly the changes in the process or the new implementations for the mobile manufacturing company would be decided, along with scope and future goals would be analyzed. At every stage to proceed further with the new proposals approvals are needed from higher authorities to implement the same.

4. What are some future technology initiatives?

Some of the future technology initiatives of a mobile manufacturing company are shown below:

· Technology has to improve the battery life of the mobile.

· Technology has to support to manufacture the mobiles with the foldable screens. It will help the people to just fold them if necessary and carry them in their pockets easily.

· Mobile features have to be enhanced by providing projection-based displays as like in the star wars technology. It should be able to provide great effect while playing games like speeding the bikes and using laser to kill the targets. Few cameras even detect the co ordinates of the target by displaying their distance and angle of slope (Aaron Short & Josh Hrala, 2013).

· Technology has to support the cross-platform communication. It helps us to utilize all the features and resources of various platforms at the same time. By this feature we do not need to replace our device just for the sake of using an other operating system. This feature is not completely implemented today but there are few tools like RhoMobile, Appcelerator and MoSync etc support this feature to some extent (Priya Viswanathan, n.d.).

· An other important feature that the technology is used in future is to integrate the cross-functional devices like watch and mobile, TV and mobile etc. Samsung Gear smart watch is a great example of this kind of Integration. This Samsung gear acts as a watch, like an iphone and as to watch the movies. It helps us to know our time, to take the calls, to make calculations, to watch videos and to chat (Dave Oliver, 2013).

· The mobile must help us to remotely connect to our office desktop by supporting their operating systems and software.

· The mobile has to provide various security scans like virus scan while connecting another device or while installing software. It shall also provide alerts if someone is trying to track the people using their mobile.

· We must be able to control the electricity at home, we shall be able to heat the dishes while we are still on the way by operating them using mobile.

· Mobiles shall support the 3D display technology.

· Another economical feature that is useful is to implement technology to support solar charging and wireless charging options in a mobile.

· Various transistors, processes and capacitors used at the NANO scale level to help the mobile chips to integrate in to the skin and to operate them just by using a small touch on our skin. I know it might seem unreal but I wish technology shall implement features like this and prove that nothing is impossible.

· Technology must be enhanced to develop unbreakable mobile devices.

· Mobile has to support huge space to store enormous data. Real time videos must be downloaded at a very faster pace.

· It shall have great scope for customization like phone blocks.

5. Does the organization tend to make, buy, or both? Why?

Most of present products in the modern world are very complex. Because of this complex architecture it is difficult for a single mobile company to have knowledge on both product and the process required to design and manufacture. So for the well being of the mobile companies depend on other for critical elements and for dependency the companies have many considerations for sort of skills and competences. The choice is not just dependent on the product but also consider manufacturing issues, design, cost and production capacity availability. If the organization does not have enough capacity to produce the product in house, then the mobile company can decide to buy the product from the efficient organization than producing it. It also reduces the cost compared to investing it in production. For mobile company it is always tend to follow both make and buy process (Charles H.Fine & Daniel E. Whitney, 1996).

Below are the factors why mobile company buys a part than producing it in house are:

· Decrease the cost for the product production

· Complete the task on time

· Requirements that are minute

· Be short of expertise

· Aim for multi tasking

· Perfectly suit the requirement

· Reduce in the bugs as it is existing product

· Resist in the competitive world

· Make use of most effective existing process

(Preferring Brand Make-Or-Buy Decision Definition | Investopedia., n.d.).

Below are the factors why mobile company make a product in house are:

· Enhanced quality control

· Increased production capacity

· More secured

· Task handled by priorities

· Requirements satisfied in best way

· Well prioritized process and the product

So for the mobile company it is always recommended to follow both make and buy in the process.

The choice can be made in the process depend on factors like development process of the product, architecture of the product, competencies of the mobile core, supply chain system. This also helps if the product behaves differently in different regions. In this case the product that the mobile company buys have more important role in the process as it helps for the product to work well in the specified region. As this process decomposes system into subsystems it is ease to accomplish the task. For example, mobiles launched by Google in uses hardware and software from LG, Motorola.

6) How does the organization manage its IT application portfolio?

Application management is a top priority for any organization to succeed. It is generally followed in mid and large size organizations. It takes the ideas from economic portfolio management to justify and compare the cost, maintenance and operation (Margaret Rouse, 2011).

It basically gathers information from all the applications used in an organization including the cost and maintenance of the application. It also explains about the quality and expected lifespan of the Application portfolio (Margaret Rouse, 2011).

It can be defined as

· It is a simple solution which can be understood by everyone in the organization and which can be applied as well

· It must be able to develop, manage and handle operations in the IT group.

· It should clearly define the limits of a particular application that is being used so that an employee working on that application cannot redefine the boundaries.

The following are the various factors of application portfolio

· It identifies and eliminates redundant applications to an extent.

· It measures the application condition in terms of stability, quality and maintainability.

· It measures the impact of all the applications on the business

· Resources are allocated accordingly in business context as per priorities.

There is a transparency maintained for strategic planning or IT conflicts, Because when the top management should understand how the key functionalities of the business and the outage impacts and poor quality leads to excessive cost towards spending precious resources for supporting application portfolio.

The application portfolio management is generally referred as “top down” and “bottom up” approach. The first requirement for an organization is to know what applications exist and what are their main abilities (flexibility, owner, maintainability etc), which are generally referred as inventory management, which is also a part of application management. There are various tools, which support application management like AMT (application mining tools). These all strategies are used in “bottom up” approach (Mike Walker, 2007).

There are numerous tools available to support the “Top down” approach because most of the tasks involve collection of right information. The actual storage and maintenance of information can be executed easily (Mike Walker, 2007).

The following are the various methods to evaluate applications

· Return of investment (ROI).

· Economic value added (EVA).

· Total cost of ownership (TCO).

· Total economic impact (TEI).

· Business value of IT (ITBV).

· Applied information economics (AIE).

Once an Application portfolio is optimized gather all the inventories of the application in the IT department and the factors that are taken into consideration would be cost, risk, business value and also gives an idea of where to invest and where to reduce the price and consolidate (Mike Walker, 2007).

7) Is the organization’s information technology initiatives aligned with the strategy of the organization?

The involvement of IT is bifurcating into various roles. These dual perspectives reflect on the organizations strategy. Alignment plays a critical role for successful deployment of information technology in a Mobile manufacturing company. Alignment of Information technology involves both business and information technology management.

Managing a business driven Mobile-manufacturing organization for which the main focus is to implement information oriented solution, which play a crucial role in reaching the business goals and strategies of an organization (Enterprise Transformation Services, n.d.).

Strategy is basically a link between a companies capability and resource management. The information technology Principles and models guide an organization in taking decisions unless there is clean and captivate business idea to make an exception.

Technologies such as clients, servers, networks, Business apps and technology applications and so on and so forth help with the strategies of an organization.

Some of the most critical factors while initiating IT strategy

1) Idea: they are usually generated in an informal way or process by doing various brain storming sessions or are also done by studying the market and following the industry trend and the ideas may vary from one to an other. So at the end of the discussion all the ideas are combined and if the ideas are accepted they propose for a approval and proceed to the next stage (McKeen, J. D., 2012).

2) Proof of concept: During this stage the ideas that were proposed are assigned to teams and few testing strategies are used for the proof of concept. This could entirely last for a week or four. Out of all the ideas that are taken into consideration only one or two make it to the next stage. All the requirements would be taken into consideration for the ideas, which are finalized and are approved for the next stage (McKeen, J. D., 2012).

3) Trail Stage or Pilot stage: Using the IT management techniques a trial strategy is prepared and the product is released into the market for a specific amount of time or limited number of products and the clients are offered a chance to use or experiment the product (McKeen, J. D., 2012).

Strategies for successful implementation of the IT in organization

The top line brings IT into the actual product which in turn refers that the IT function must be more customer centric and inculcate new skills and work with the Business heads of the organization which leads the company to strategies the IT experimentation. This in turn reflects the alignment of IT with the business strategy of the organization (McKeen, J. D., 2012).

8. How does the organization manage its information? What technology is used and how is it distributed? (Module Seven)

Information Management

Information management is about managing the information by collecting the data from various sources and distributes the information to various sets of people. Managing information is required to make sure that they provide useful information rather than making the data confusing and straining. Managing proper information is important to take better decisions based on the accurate data, to provide protection and security, to understand the roles clearly by the employees, to retrieve or update the information easily. I also believe that access to various kinds of information must be given to different people based on their roles and legal authoritarian requirements.

In order to manage the information in a mobile manufacturing company, it is good to follow few steps as listed below:

· The initial step is find out what information is required in the company. The next thing is to know the various types of format in which the information is stored. It is always good to take a general estimation of who stores what kind of information and what information various people access (How to Manage Information, n.d.).

· The next thing is to organize our information. We need to make sure to integrate the information if necessary and store it in a central system. It is good to follow a central system based retrieval in a mobile company so that we make sure that all the employees are working on the same set of data. We also must make sure that there is enough storage space to store that information and we have to update the information time to time (How to Manage Information, n.d.).

· While managing any information we must make sure that we follow few rules like Data protection and copyright. Data protection is important as the company deals with very sensitive data like the employees and personal patent codes information. Copyright is that we have to give access to the people who have authorized access and you need the permission from the authorized person access them legally (How to Manage Information, n.d.).

· The next step is to estimate the cost required for managing the information and we shall monitor the information in future so that we can delete the information that is no longer needed and can make respective changes (How to Manage Information, n.d.).

We use various technologies to manage the information in a mobile manufacturing company.

· We use many kinds of data center and server based technologies to manage the information. Data centers are mainly used to store the data in a central system, process and distribute huge amounts of data.

· Information Automation Technology is used to manage the information and there by helps us to use improvise the techniques and to accelerate the projects in the company. These are used to generate the reports automatically by analyzing the information. These are mainly used in the transition and process information systems.

· Knowledge Information technology are used in the manage the data that is related to store various strategies, policies and practices that are used in a company. It is important to manage this kind of information because it is very much useful to create insights and to decide what kind of processes is useful to implement.

· Various data management technology are used to store, retrieve, to provide back up, data checking and various data encryption techniques are used to provide security to the data. Inventory management technology are used to provide various transaction details, how the transaction is made, how many more products you have etc. It is very important in a manufacturing company because these details are used for further production of mobiles.

· Customer Relationship management technology is used to store the information of various customers, their preferences and their reviews. It is very important to manage this data, as it is very sensitive and useful to a company.

The distribution of the data is based on the roles of the employees.

Internal Distribution

The access to the data is given based on the legal authorization. Different department employees get access to different set of data. For example, the HR team gets access to the personal information of employees and IT team gets access to the project related information not to the other employees’ personal info. Internal data access also differs to the designation of an employee like the senior developer has different access rights compared to the junior employee.

The application servers are used to host the data and then security is provided to the data by using Firewalls and various load balancing techniques.

General Distribution

To the customers is given based on a web based user interface. We can manage various mobile software upgrades (Margaret Rouse, 2010).

9. What security measures are used within the organization? How does it ensure that the data of the organization is safe from hackers? (Module Eight)

In a mobile manufacturing company there are many security measures that are taken both at the hardware and software side. The overall security measures are shown below.

· In a manufacturing company designing is one of the prime aspect to be concerned. Mobile design is very important as all the mobiles are manufactured based on that specific design. The cost that we invest will be millions based on the size of the organization. The security measure has to be taken to make sure that the mobile design doesn’t leak. Most of the times the leakage of the designs takes place via pen drives rather than via mails. It is because the break done via mails can be detected very easily. So here must use the technology not to detect the external drivers in the company machines, these company machines shall only detect the company drivers.

· An other aspect to be considered is that the mobile designing technology should not leak. Usually in the mobile manufacturing company the manufacturing part is all computerized and the access shall be given only to the limited and authorized people.

· There are few kind of technologies where the access is given to only very high professional people. There are few procedures to pass the chips to various persons for developing them. Here once the person who is authorized takes the chip and then seal it with some stampings and few specifications shall be made. So, we can identify who all are using the chip and are they using it legally.

· Theft is an other concern that shall be considered is the theft of the newly designed and manufactured mobiles before releasing them in the market. We must make sure that these things don’t take place as it results in a huge loss. The security equipment using advanced scanners shall be able to detect the all the belongings carried by the person who is entering or exiting the company building. Usually all the mobile developing designs, chips and models shall be arranged in the lockers before leaving the company for security purposes.

· Moving on to the security concerns of software related things, while using the patents from other companies we must make sure that we are using the patent stuff legally by following all the formalities. Else the compensation amount will be very high.

· While adding the new features to upgrade the mobiles that are developed and released in the market before we must provide security for the kind of software not to leak. Because if they leak before the release time the competitors might replicate the same feature and release them before our company actually releases them. So to prevent these issues usually the mobile manufacturing company hires the employees they provide the compliance rules for the employees to follow at all circumstances. Severe legal actions shall be taken on the employees if they break the rules.

To make sure that the data is safe from the hackers, the following things are done. They are:

· Company provides firewalls to different networks with in the company. So that it will help the people from outside the network to enter and retrieve the data.

· The system allows the junk mails to be transmitted via the main server side for the security concerns. Few procedures are present to whether to allow these mails to pass to the employees or not. It prevents the suspected mails generated from different IP address to reach the employees machines.

· Security rules are present to auto expire the systems password for every month.

· There are certain rules present to set the password too like to include alphanumeric, length of the password, kind of case (upper or lower or both) used. It makes tough job for the hackers to decrypt the password.

· Security procedures are present even to use the Internet in a company network. Here using the Internet only via proxy method enables the security. It helps the employees to browse only the trusted sites and it also blocks the usage of other sites.

· The systems that are present in the mobile manufacturing company do not allow the installation of unauthorized software. If any problem arise while installing, the problem can be solved by the help desk people and they will also help the employees by providing registered software.

10. How does the organization manage the identity of customers? Employees? Consultants? (Module Nine)

It is always important to identify various categories of individuals like the customers, employees and consultants as there is a great need to control their access rights on various resources of the company. Usually identifying the people related to the company helps us to increase the security and productivity of a mobile manufacturing company. It also helps the officials to have mobile access to the company systems.

There are several ways to manage the identity of customers, employees and consultants in the mobile manufacturing company. Some of the methods are shown below:

· In order to access the machines in the company or use the company websites, all the people are supposed to log in. It helps the company to identify under what category does the person come under. Based on the kind of group like customers, employees or consultants the various access rights are given to them. Different access rights are given to different people. Usually the customers are given access to the unreliable and public data that is used to promote the mobile manufacturing company. The internal data access rights shall be given to employees and consultants.

· With in the company network, the mobile manufacturing company manages to identify between the employees and consultants based on the emails. There are different kind of format is given to the employees and consultants based on their category. For examples if I’m working as an employee my mail id can be [email protected] where as if I’m working as a consultant my email id can be as [email protected] i.e., for the consultants we use underscore consultant to differentiate them among other employees.

· We can even identify the categories based on the In network and out network calls to the servers in the company. It can be done as the external users will have a different IP address from the company’s network. At least there will be difference in the starting address of the IP. The people inside the company can makes call with the IP address that is in the range of the company’s network. Even if the employees or consultants want to connect in an external way using remote methods, mobile manufacturing company allows them to connect via VPN and then link to the company site.

· An other simple method to mange the identity is to differentiate the users using their user names. In the mobile manufacturing company the customers just include their username as their first name-last name like “manasa-lagisetty”. If it is an employee, they shall specify their user name as first name-last name-EemployeeID like “manasa-lagisetty-E12345”. If it is a consultant then they shall specify the user name as first name-last name-C date of birth like “manasa-lagisetty-C07071991”.Here we make sure that user names are always unique to prevent the conflicts while inserting rows in a data base with same user names.

Thus the above are the various ways to specify and manage the identity of various categories in the mobile manufacturing company.

11. If the organization operates globally, what information systems does it use to run its enterprise around the world? (Module Ten)

The mobile manufacturing company is a Globalized organization. The following are different kinds of information systems that are used to organize and manage data and the regular activities in the company.

Transaction processing system

In a mobile manufacturing company several transactions takes place by placing an order, browsing items, payment transaction, confirmation methods. To deal with all these things and huge data we use transaction-processing system. It also deals with managing the data process like updating the data after each transaction, removing the unwanted information or mobile models once they are already sold out or out of stock. It depends on the kind of systems whether to implement the batch processing method or online transaction processing method (Shelly, Cashman & Vermaat, n.d.).

Browse systems

Mobile manufacturing company uses the customized search engines, which include the self-learning algorithms. It helps to browse various through mobiles, various models and browse through some features.

Management system

The management system is responsible to manage the data from various branches at various places as the mobile manufacturing company is a globalized organization. It includes a centralized database and manages the data in it by integrating the data from various transaction processing systems that are present at each branch. It helps the management to get a clear view of the models that are moving fast and the models that do not have high demand in the market. If necessary it can also list the models that are pacing with high speed based on the age preferences, the market conditions and the cultures at various places (Shelly, Cashman & Vermaat, n.d.).

Shipping system

Once an order is taken from the company website, the shipping address shall be given. What kind of shipping service should be used, what model of mobile has to be shipped and from which location to which location. All these issues are taken care by shipping system.

Decision support systems

These systems are used to analyze the trends, sales, patterns and various statistics about the models and their designs and help us to take a clear decision of how to improve the sales, develop strategies to release the product before deadline and how to make changes in the design to reduce the production cost of mobiles (Shelly, Cashman & Vermaat, n.d.).

Load Balancing systems

At the release time of any software upgrades or new release of some advanced additional features to the mobiles, then thousands of requests shall be generated at an instinct at the very same time. The load balancing systems are used to distribute the load of requests based on their count and the time that is required to fed them. Thus these systems are responsible to distribute the load of requests to multiple places.

Automation systems

The automation systems are used to send automatic messages to the employees based on the Inventory like as it is a manufacturing company if there is a demand for a kind of mobile models then it shall intimate the manufacturing department to produce more of those models based on the number of order they received verses the stock they currently have. Updating database, sending e-mails regarding any meetings and some remainders or alerts is automatically generated.

Expert systems

These systems are used to store large repository of data that are collected from experts at various times. It also includes the best strategies, policies and few tips that shall be helpful in future. The best thing is it includes most of the issues that are faced by the company and how the decisions are taken to resolve these issues (Shelly, Cashman & Vermaat, n.d.).
