Title: Justifying why there is need for managers and employers to adopt new ways of motivating millennial employees.

1.0 Introduction

1.1 Attention material-

Ever wonders why most of the companies such as Google performs better than most companies? Ever ask yourself some of the reasons for this change? It is undisputable that most people may think that technology and improved innovation are key factors. However, have you ever think of what underlies innovation and invention? This work will answer all these questions by claiming that the manner in which managers treat or motivate determine how they will perform. The reason for differential performance is that some companies are able to motivate employees better than others. In this regard, the work would support the fact that managers need to change the ways of motivating employees from traditional style where they normally believe that rewarding or giving money is the only way of motivating employees if they are to remain competitive.

1.2 Thesis statement:

The study would be based on a thesis statement that managers need to change the ways of motivating employees from traditional style where they normally believe that rewarding or giving money is the only way of motivating employees if they are to remain competitive

3.0 Conclusion

3.1 Summary statement

Traditionally, managers have been relying on monetary motivation as the only effective way of motivating employees. However, from the following information, it is apparent that the current generation have more needs and different needs that are cannot solved by money alone. Consequently, managers need to embrace new ways of motivating employees. Some of these ways include frequent praise and recognition, proper orientation, celebrating accomplishment, criticizing with care, conducting regular performance appraisals, and also establishing a mentoring program and many others.

3.2 Concluding remarks

Based on these discussions, it is important to remind the managers to start adopting new ways of motivating employees. They need to understand that new generation has new needs and problems and hence they should adjust their policies accordingly.
