write 3 flyers

profileblsj

You have been hired by a local fitness trainer who is offering a speed and agility training course for young athletes. The trainer has asked you to create text for some flyers promoting the program. She has three different audiences that she would like to promote the program to, so you will need to write copy for three different flyers with the purpose of raising interest in the program and driving registration.

Your task is to write copy for three different flyers:

  • Parents of young (ages 10-18) athletes
  • High school students who are involved in a variety of sports
  • Coaches of select baseball, basketball and soccer teams

These will only be one-page flyers, so copy should be concise and highlight points of interest that make the most sense for each audience. Each flyer’s word count should be 200-300 words, and the tone and content should be customized for each flyer. You should think about what would matter to each of the three different audiences and highlight the parts of a speed and agility class that would be of most interest to them. And, the word choice and tone you use will be different depending on the audience as well.

Often when working with graphic designers, a communication professional writes the copy for a promotional piece and then provides it to the designer in a Word document. So, even if you attempt the layout for extra credit, you MUST write your copy first and submit it as a Word document. It is okay to include basic formatting such as bullet points or subheads to help call attention to information.
