Module 3 Discussion

Traditionally, women are relegated to the margins of history, particularly as it relates to pursuits like warfare and exploration. This module content is meant to challenge that placement of women. For your initial discussion post, craft an argument for greater inclusion of women in the traditional narrative of the Civil War and American Westward Expansion. How and why should women be more prominently included in the history of these time periods? Provide at least 3 specific people/stories for the Civil War and 3 specific people/stories for The West in order to support your argument. Explain how each of your examples proves your argument. This is persuasive writing, so it is your job to make the case for women-- be convincing!
