This week’s topics include the review of incident response planning.  Documentation is a critical aspect of our job, and 50% of our time is  spent in this capacity. 

• Explain in your own words  the importance of keeping an Incident Response Plan (IRP) up-to-date  with changes in a business. Hypothesize what you believe to be the  greatest reason for a corporation to not have an updated IRP and explain  the potential issues this could create. Describe 3 to 4 critical  elements that should be included in the IRP. Share a website or resource  that would help in the creation and design of a new IRP.  Share with  your classmates, and include links to any useful resource you find. 

After reading a few of your  classmate's postings, reply to the ones from which you learned something  new, or to which you have something to add. Remember to get in early  and post often.
