Week 5: Step Mother Myths

As counselors in training, you may be asked to work with blended families and consequently, step mothers.  As you reflect upon the dominant social myths, how would you assist the stepmother in overcoming and/or re-authoring the myths and misconceptions about her role in the family?  You must choose at least 3 myths to discuss.  Your assignment must be completed in APA 6th edition format, and should be a minimum of 3-4 pages.
