Week 5 Discussion - Giving Constructive Feedback
Week 5 Discussion - Giving Constructive Feedback
After completing this week's Readings and Resources, access and watch the video below by Paul Bambrick-Santoyo.
You can access several short videos at the link below. While we do not have time to review them all, you might want to spend some time in the future with this workshop.
While we are talking about supervision and working with teachers, giving constructive feedback is an important part of the process; Dr. Bambrick-Santoyo addresses the topic in his video. If real-time feedback is the only way we can show new teachers how great teaching feels in action, reflect upon a time when you were given feedback from your supervisor that you feel changed the course of your teaching. How important will it be for you to work with new teachers and give them the feedback they need to grow as teachers?
Your initial responses are due by 11:55 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday and should be between 200-250 words. The initial posting should be a statement of your point of view on the question, supported by the required readings.
