Based on this week’s reading, video lecture, and group presentations, we would like to propose the discussion board question as following:

Thanks to the development of technology, globalization has become unavoidable. We have seen the developed countries dominated the world’s economy and culture. How are minority or less dominant cultures impacted in the globalization process, but still preserve their cultural identity? How might globalizing the local, also localize the global? Select one national culture that influences the world economy and compare that cultural impact to a less dominant country. This website might be helpful in selecting countries with high GNP, https://www.usnews.com/news/best-countries/best-international-influence.
