Each week builds on itself in order to help you to design a web store layout. After watching the week 2 video lecture, continue to research and thoughtfully develop your web store. The questions/topics below will help you to begin the process.
In a Word .doc, write an essay answering/discussing each of the question/topics below. Make sure to include references.
- What naming conventions would you use to name your webpage files and why? Support your answer using the rules of naming conventions. (slide 2)
- What is your site trying to achieve? What is your goal in developing this site? (slide 4)
- What niche do you intend to serve? After doing your own research, how would your site fits in with your competitors? (slides 4)
- What will you bring to the table to attract customers that your competitors do not? (slide 5)
- Define your target audience. (slides 6 & 7)
- Define your business model in detail including the revenue model and financing. (slides 8-10)
- Envision how you will develop and maintain your CRM. (slide 11)
- Imagine that you are looking for the items on your site. List all search words that you would use, including phrases. (slide 12)
- What inventory strategy would your site employ? Estimate overhead. (slides 16 & 17)
- How do you plan to handle order fulfillment? (slides 15-18)
- How do you plan to handle sales taxes? (slide 19)
