Use of Sensors in Industrial Applications

Many different types of sensors can be used for flow measurements. For this discussion, think about the different factors on which the choice of a particular flow sensor will depend and discuss them. 

 The accurate measurement of fluid flow is very important in many industrial applications. Optimum performance of many processes requires specific flow rates. As such, we need flow sensors to detect flow rate; however, one single flow device is not suitable for all applications, and a careful selection is needed. In this activity, we explore the factors affecting the selection of a flow sensor for a given industrial application.
