The project is a creative response to one or related texts we’ve read. You may work individually or in groups of up to four students. The project should reflect either a creative or analytical focus. If you choose the creative track, you will create either a video or a visual artifact. For the video, you may stage, direct and film a re-enactment, a re-interpretation or a response to one or two of the texts. You may also set one or more texts to song (country music, Rap?) and film the performance. If you are more inclined towards visual imagery, you might create a comic book based on one of the texts or tangible interpretation. If you choose the analytical track, you might develop an in-depth character study (utilizing research) or a presentation on a cultural event or a theory connected to the literature we’ve read or create a website that connects and analyses each of the texts..
