 class-  Spec Topics Interdisc Studies Overview & Purpose: Next week, you will submit your culminating assignment for this course:The Repatriation Framework.  For the final project, you will synthesize everything we have learned  to present a practical approach to restitution. You will have the choice  to format your final project as an Op-Ed advocating for legislative  action, a podcast script detailing the Oba vs. State debate, or an  internal museum action plan.Before you write the final project, you must submit a formal Final Project Memo  outlining your intended approach. This ensures your project is on the  right track and allows me to provide feedback on your concept.Instructions:  Write a 1-page, formal professional memo addressed to me (Dr. Reed)  that outlines your plan for the Module 5 Final Project. Your memo must  include the following sections (use bold headers):

  1. Format & Audience:  Which format have you chosen (Op-Ed, Podcast Script, or Museum Action  Plan)? Who is the specific target audience for this piece?  
  2. Subject & Artifact Focus: What specific artifact, collection, or current event (e.g., the Oba's 2023 decree) will serve as the anchor for your project?  
  3. Core Argument/Thesis: In 2-3 sentences, what is the primary argument or policy recommendation you will be making?  
  4. Course Integration: List at least three  specific course readings, archives, or media pieces from Modules 1-4  that you plan to utilize as evidence in your final project. Briefly  explain how you will use them.
