Phase 3 of your project will be due in Unit 10. Read the directions for this

assignment carefully and plan how you will meet this deadline. If you have any

questions about the instructions, contact your instructor.

Conclude your review of literature relevant to your issue. Your list of references

for Phase 3 will include those you previously cited in Phase 2, but should be

augmented. It may include added material located through the Global Issue

Resources interactive, course readings and media presentations if relevant. In

addition, the final project must include at least 12 peer-reviewed sources located

from the Research library or other sources online or in print.

Global Issue – Analysis (Phase 3) Scoring Guide.

This is the third and final phase of your Global Issue Analysis project. This assignment will incorporate the work you

did on the two previous phases of your assignment. Previous work will be revised and augmented with further

analysis, discussion, recommendations, and a conclusion.

Your assignment will begin with the introduction, background, and rationale you previously submitted in Phase 2. If

these sections were satisfactory in your last submission, they need not be revised.

Next, you will revise the following sections from Phase 2, based on feedback you received from your instructor and

other advances in your understanding:

• Review of relevant literature.

• Key outcomes and findings from the application of theoretical framework to your global issue.

You will continue your paper with discussion of possible public health interventions that could address your

issue. Critically analyze important factors surrounding interventions, as well as their relative strengths and

weaknesses. These factors should include cultural values and their impact on decision making and

communications.

Next, you will detail your recommended interventions and their rationale. These recommendations should

incorporate public values that have been identified as universally held across relevant regional and global

boundaries. They may address enhancement of collaboration, communication, coordination, strategic

planning and management. What would the implementation look like? Are some dimensions of the issue

more amenable to intervention and others less so? How could you circumvent obstacles? What contingency

plans are appropriate? You should also discuss how the success of interventions may be evaluated.

Finally, you will conclude with a brief summative statement recapping the importance of your issue and your

degree of confidence in your recommended interventions.

For this assignment, use the following organizational arrangement and structure:

The paper should also meet the following requirements:

• Written communication: Written communication is free of errors that detract from the overall

message.

• APA formatting: Resources and citations are formatted according to APA (sixth edition) style.

• Number of resources: Minimum of 12 peer-reviewed resources and other sources as appropriate.

• Length of paper: 10–15 typed, double-spaced pages, plus a cover page, table of contents, executive

summary, and reference list.

• Font and font size: Times, 12 point.
