Theoretical Framework, Research Questions, Significance of Study, and
Methodology and Design. In this course, you have learned about data collection,
analysis methods, and research ethics. Using the course readings to guide your
response, share your proposed data collection and analysis procedure for your
proposal. Discuss an ethical consideration/s for the data collection and analysis
procedure and how you will address this issue.

Case Assignment
Use the information provided in the readings to write a 3- to 5-page paper that discusses the ethical considerations for quantitative, qualitative, and action/evaluation research designs. Explain the purpose of an Institutional Review Board (IRB). Review the Trident IRB site. In your own words, describe the steps of the IRB process at Trident and provide a summary of the components/supportive documents required in the IRB application at Trident. Reflect on your proposed research study and discuss two steps in the IRB process that you had not yet considered or two components of the application that you had not yet considered. How will you address those steps or components?

Critical Thinking/Application to Professional Practice: Demonstrates mastery conceptualizing the problem, and careful consideration of experts or research in the field of educational leadership. Module content and concepts are thoroughly and thoughtfully analyzed, synthesized, and evaluated. Conclusions are logically presented and applied to professional practice in an exceptional manner.
Scholarly Writing: Demonstrates mastery and proficiency in scholarly written communication at the doctoral level.
Quality of References and Assignment Organization: Demonstrates mastery using relevant and quality sources and uses appropriate, relevant, and compelling content from the module readings or other sources to support ideas, convey understanding of the topic and shape the whole work.
Citing Sources: Demonstrates mastery applying APA formatting standards to both in-text citations and the reference list.
