The 4C's

The 4Cs will help our students attain 21st century skills that will make them productive members of society. Walsh & Sattes (2010 write that practices such as student engagement with discussion, asking quality questions, and collaborating need to be classroom staples for our students to attain those 21st century skills (page 106)

This week focuses on responsible learning and engagement. Discuss the following. 

• How do the Four Cs—critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and curiosity—constitute the basics for learning? 
• Why is it important to encourage student questions? How do they relate to student engagement? To student responsibility?
