Surveillance Research Assignment

Surveillance devices are key tools for law enforcement and emergency management. The type of surveillance systems used by law enforcement vary from state to state. The rules and procedures for the deployment of surveillance systems vary from state to state. In this research project you will assess the surveillance systems used in the major cities of California (Los Angeles), Florida (Miami), Illinois (Chicago), Louisiana (New Orleans), Massachusetts (Boston), New York (NYC), Texas (Houston), and Washington (Seattle). Using the internet and library, research and write a paper summarizing the surveillance systems used by Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, and Seattle Police Departments. Prepare an essay paper consisting of four to six pages which addresses at a minimum the following(Choose 5 of the mentioned cities):
