Listening Assignment

You will take the listening self-assessment (so you have to take quick survey attached page 1). 

Then you will ask two other people who you communicate with on a regular basis to take the assessment about YOU. Discuss your listening behaviors with these folks. Try to ask two people with different types of relationships such as a parent and best friend or partner and boss (so you have to take quick survey attached page  2,3)

You will type a 1-page, double spaced paper that have the following COMPLETE Paragraphs:

Define the characteristics of an effective, active listener. 

Describe the positive qualities that you and those you assessed you suggest that you have as a listener.

Describe the negative qualities that you and those you assessed you suggest that you have as a listener.

Write a very specific strategic plan for you to improve your listening skills.
