 Informative Speech: Each student will give a 4- to 5-minute informative speech.  The grading criteria will be organization, delivery, and content.  This 130 point assignment includes the following: (1) the oral presentation (100 points) and (2) the typed planning document which includes the outline and works cited page in MLA format (15 points).  (3) A PowerPoint presentation to be given with the speech. This PowerPoint can have no more that a cover page with the title of the speech and the student's name and class number and 6 slides. On those six slides no more than 12 words (total for all six slides) will be allowed. Do not include a works cited page in the PowerPoint presentation. (15 points)
