Since its rise to popularity in the 1960s, marijuana has remained the most commonly used illegal substance in the United States by a very wide margin---why do you think it remains so popular?  What have your own experiences with marijuana been like?  Why do you think several generations of our country's presidents have had negative views about marijuana?  i want each of you to take a side in the federal legalization debate: should marijuana be legalized and regulated much like we do alcohol, or should we continue to treat marijuana use as criminal (remember, even though a small handful of states have changed our laws, marijuana remains illegal federally for ANY type of use: medical, recreational, industrial, etc...)?  You must support your stance with statistics and facts, not just your own opinions or feelings.
