Interview a Senior Citizen to gather some amazing insight on their world and their experiences.
As the conversation progresses during the interview, delve deeper. Note comparisons, changes,
advancements, family life. What are your thoughts of how society was when the Senior Citizen
was your age? Do you feel spoiled to have what you have or wish it were simpler times?
Here are a few questions to use as a starting point....
Thinking about all of the technological advances, political events, and/or social changes that you
have witnessed in your lifetime, which ones have been the most amazing, influential and
memorable for you?
Why?
What can the United States do to better meet the needs of its senior citizens?
If there was a single lesson that you learned from your life that you would like to pass along to
younger people as words of wisdom, what would it be?
Include topics, concepts, ideas addressed over the course of the semester and during our
classroom discussions and lectures.
In doing so, utilize a minimum of 3 scholarly sources to support the elements of your paper
-- Be sure to use proper citations.
The paper should be a minimum of 5-7 pages
