Scenario: MNC Expansion
Question: Should there be a limitation on the number of Multinational Corporations (MNC’s) in a given urban area?
Description: We have learned the vast contributions of the multinational corporation (“MNC”) to the economic landscape of cities. MNC’s provide many good, paying skilled jobs while attracting other businesses like insurance, law, accounting firms that cluster around them. For some, expansion of MNC’s ensures the economic viability of the city as it allows it compete in the global marketplace. For others, the proliferation of MNC’s is concerning as it creates an “inequitable landscape” that closes off entire sections of the city to those that are not part of its “corporate class.”
The PRO team will SUPPORT THE LIMITATION of the number of MNC’s.
The CON team will OPPOSE THE LIMITATION of the number of MNC’s.
please write it as an open statement with CON
