For this discussion, you will create a fictional narrative based on historical facts. This narrative should be informed by your research on Santiago de Compostela and other Romanesque pilgrimage sites and artwork of the time period. at least, one page in length.

Put yourself in the shoes of a European pilgrim in the Romanesque period. You are embarking on a journey of a lifetime to visit important relics, monasteries and/or churches. Define a place of departure, tell us about three, churches, monasteries or relics you see along the way using the well-connected pilgrim routes.Your narrative should reflect the culture of the time and help the reader visualize the sites and objects that inspired and helped pilgrims realize their spiritual journey. Be sure to provide a detailed visual and cultural analysis of the artworks and architectural sites you see on your journey.
