Rhetorical Analysis

In response to a persuasive text, 1) write a brief and objective paragraph summary demonstrating your understanding of the content; and 2) critically analyze and evaluate the text, making sure to address the author’s intended audience, purpose and method of persuasion. Include a thesis statement and citations. This essay is a culmination the skills developed in previous essays; particularly, summarization, problematization, and evaluation, ultimately building your credibility as a critical thinker writing to a more academic audience. 5 - 6 pages.
