Reviewing a Sample Grant Proposal
Do you recall the old adage: Those who ignore the past are doomed to repeat it? Often, you can learn as much from failure as you can from success. Projects that were able to thrive can teach you a great deal about how to effectively implement similar plans. Likewise, projects which have failed can make you aware of important aspects to attend to in your own proposed project. (attached below are my proposed projects)
Make use of your textbook, the Internet, and the Argosy University online library resources to research grant proposals. Then, based on your research, respond to the following:
- Identify a sample grant proposal that is similar in nature to your own proposed project.
- Review the document carefully and then respond to each of the following questions:
- What are the parallels between this project and the one you propose?
- How does your project differ from this sample project?
- Evaluate what you can learn from the sample that will help you in the formulation of your own grant proposal.
