1. In the conclusion, Gutstein raises the issue of how relevant his experience was: “One could question how relevant my story is to full-time teachers. My response has consistently been that we can learn from others’ experiences even with markedly different conditions than our own, provided that we understand the others’ context, theory, and practice” (p. 486).
