In what ways does David seem to conform (or not conform) to the advice that Machiavelli gives to rulers? Consider David's career as described from 1 Samuel 16 to 1 Kings 2 in light of Machiavelli's The Prince (chaps. 14-19, on Blackboard). You can write this as a straightforward description/comparison, or if you prefer, take a more creative approach, such as writing it as a selection from David's memoirs (imagine he has a copy of The Prince) or Machiavelli's retelling/summary of David's career as an illustration of his points. (At least 500 words)
