As we all deal with changes in school, work, and public based on the mounting concerns about Covid-19, I thought this would be a good time to think about how Psychoanalysis approaches these issues. 

How do you think any of the issues we have seen surrounding this public health issue are related to what you are learning in this course Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic Theory?

The delay of testing kits in the US
The closing of public events
Schools going online or extending spring break
Handwashing/handshaking/greetings
The American work ethic and coming to work ill
The hoarding of toilet paper, hand sanitizer and other specific goods
Those who defy the advice of public health officials' recommendations
