Individual Writing Assignment:

Write a 4-5 page paper answering the following questions succinctly and in order.  Please number each answer to correspond with the question.

1. List and describe in chronological order the major legal occurrences that formed the basis of American corporate power.
2. Describe the social doctrine that Greider proposes as a way to reform corporate behavior.
3. List as many instances as you find in Chapter 7 of ways that the government has assisted private enterprise.  Discuss if these instances have helped or hurt the public.
4. Based on what you’ve learned in this class and considering Chapter 8, describe and explain the 2-3 most important changes you feel should be made in our economic system.
