Directions

If you have it, start with the material you worked on in class.

· Start the Results section after the Methods section in your Paper 3 report. Have a heading to start the section.

· Develop paragraphs that present the stories found in your data. This will be a minimum of four body paragraphs (many will have 5-8).

· Paragraphs must be focused on a single, clear idea stated in the topic sentence.

· What is seen in the graph must be summarized.

· The story needs to be illustrated by a single number. 

· The graph summary and data must be explained as to how it illustrates the story.

· It is fine if paragraphs are short; three to six sentences is common.

· Organize the stories in a logical manner and use transitions to connect the paragraphs. Transitions should not indicate chronology--first, second, then, etc--as their is no chronology present in your data.

· Anytime you use the graph, reference it in your text (such as See Figure 1).

· Place the graph  after the first direct reference to the graph. Do not break-up a paragraph or wrap a paragraph around it.

· Make sure to have all graph items properly formatted.

· Have all items that belong to the graph on the same page. If some of it gives moved to a new page, move all items to the next page and move up paragraphs that follow it until that space is filled.

· Submit this is full APA format following the other parts in a word file.
