Going Grant Crazy It’s hard to obtain approval for initiatives in our schools. The pot of money is limited and the competition is fierce. Finding creative solutions to funding are often the route to ensure that we don’t miss critical support for student success

In this formative assessment, you will evaluate your initiative that you have been cultivating in this course for funding outside of the traditional dollars allocated to schools. You will need to develop a plan for funding that is creative and innovative.

Please investigate possible funding sources for your specific solution. Both grants and donors are applicable funding sources, although you may also find others.

Please turn in a brief overview that defines the problem/solution and creative funding source to be utilized. Please be sure to explain why this specific funding source is the best match for your solution. It’s okay if you need a mixture of funds from the district budget and grants, but be sure to be clear so that both parties understand their contribution and why one is not sufficient.
