Describe a Significant Nursing Clinical Issue

Reflect on your practice and identify a significant nursing clinical issue that you would like to search for evidence in online sources. This issue will be the basis for the Research Database Assignment that you will submit in Week 3. Formulate searchable, clinical questions in the PICO(T) format for your nursing clinical issue. Remember to integrate references.

TD #1- The CO outcome for this discussion is : Examine the sources of evidence that contribute to professional nursing practice. So this week we will begin our study of the research process by learning how to read research literature. This will provide the foundation for your week 3 assignment.Reflect on your practice and identify a significant nursing clinical issue that you would like to search for evidence in online sources. Choose your issue thoughtfully because you will work on it throughout the course.  In this discussion you will describe what makes your issue significant-the seriousness, the number of people affected, knowledge gaps and so forth.  You will also develop a searchable clinical question for our nursing issue  in a  PICO(T) format.
