In this module, you learned about different forms of influence that might affect policy situations. In this assignment, you will explore different forms of influence in devising policy solutions.

Tasks:

In a minimum of 300 words, post your responses to the following:

• Explain the role of influence in policy advocacy. Toward whom are influence efforts directed? When does the influence begin, and when does it end?
• Discuss at least three different forms of influence that policy advocates may exercise. What factors should be considered when determining which influence technique to use? Create three examples of the three influence techniques you discuss targeting a specific issue (i.e., at least one example per technique) and explain why it is most appropriate for the situation.
