Visiting Artist Lecture Amir Zaki

By summarizing Zakis’ presentation on her artistic practice in your response answer: 

● What specific project and/or artwork presented by Zaki in the lecture did you find inspirational in thinking about surveying and/or picturing the Landscape? 

● When Amir Zaki states “my interest is in transforming the Landscape to see what I want to see”, what does the artist mean by this? Give specific examples from the lecture. 

● Give your personal opinion responding to the comments made my the artist is relationship to “luck” and “authenticity” in art photography. 

● What are the questions that arise in the artist’s work that were presented in the lecture? What types of new questions about photography did you have after hearing the artist talk?
