To complete this current event assignments, students must read newspaper articles (from any acceptable source) that connect with topics we discussed and read about in class in the second half of the semester , write a summary of the article (1 paragraph), define the concept you think is applicable (1 sentence), and state why this article illustrates the concept that is discussed in the field of comparative politics (1 paragraph). Articles must be from that week or a week before (published within 14 days of the due date) AND cannot focus on the United States.  In other words, you must use articles that cover current events outside of the United States.  You must provide a citation for the article at the bottom of your posts.
