Policy and Ethics

Keeping in mind the information provided to you in the Introduction Module about these Writing Assignments, please complete the following question.

As with all drop box assignments, you must submit the assignment as an attachment.  The attachment must in the format of a doc, docx or rtf.

Chapter 8 is about how to design and implement a code of ethics in an organization.

Scenario: 

You work for a medium sized municipality.  You have been selected to serve on a committee to create a code of ethics for the city.  Pick 5 things that you think MUST be in this code.  Be sure and fully explain these 5 code items.  And, be sure and defend WHY you think this is a MUST for the code for your city.

You may want to review some different codes of ethics or codes of conduct for public organizations to get some ideas.  The chapter also discusses numerous useful topics as well.
