By now you have gained good working knowledge about the ecology of cities. Scale, mobility, architecture, social and environmental justice, food and waste, water and air, public health and safety, each of these elements is part of the complex web of systems that create our home.
The challenges of preserving, healing and transforming the places we care about demands that our creative responses take a whole systems approach in their development.
Among the ways we can do this is through the lens of what is called biophilic design.
