Pick a drug

Pick a drug to write about. This could be Sertraline (Zoloft), Acetaminophen (Tylenol), Cocaine, etc. (Any drug you want!) Some medicines are combination drugs, meaning they are composed of two active ingredients. If your medicine is a combination drug you will have to tell me about both active ingredients. 

Write 2-3 paragraphs about this drug you have chosen. Include...

• The name(s) and molecular shape of the drug (Give me a picture, C6H12O6 doesn't tell me much)
• Where the drug was found and/or when it was produced, a bit of its history.
• What naturally occuring biomolecule it mimics/resembles (Drugs that affect serotonin receptors often biochemically resemble serotonin...)
• What proteins/recpetors/systems your drug interacts with and what this does to the systems.
• Effects on the body, and why it has these effects (This is basically a continuation of the point above.)

Please use 1-2 reputable sources (Link to website is fine). Wikipedia is a great source for most of this...
