For this assignment, you will conduct a literature search and locate two articles for each of the KM topics listed in this week’s introduction as well as two more on a topic of your choice. Summarize the articles and include the following information:

Explain each work’s purpose.
Provide a concise summary of each work’s contents.
Identify its relevance to the topic.
Analyze the contribution’s unique characteristics.
Critically analyze each study’s strengths and weaknesses.

Next, choose one of these articles and perform a critical analysis of it. Some areas to include in this analysis:

What are some deficiencies in this work? Why do you feel they are areas that need improvement? Do the authors state the need for future work?
What does other research say about this paper? Do they agree with the findings, or do they disagree? Note: You can look at the “cited works” listing for each paper to find related papers.

Finally, propose a research study that could build on this paper or provide more interesting or profound findings. You do not need to actually conduct this study. Just propose some logical extension or application that would aid in KM research.

Article summaries: 5-7 pages
Critical analysis: 1-2 pages
Research proposal/extension: 1-2 pages
References: a minimum of 8 resources

Your assignment should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
