Baskin Robbins & LeadershipI look at the workplace as 31 flavors. Much more diverse now than when I was younger. To that end, a leader must be adept at bringing folks together for one common purpose, when their backgrounds and ethical perspectives might be different. While this might be a question you'd expect in Dr. Piazza's class, I think you'll all be able to quickly think of examples that tie to this week's question:

We all view situations based on our upbringing, education and background/experience. A member of a one culture might not view the world with the same ethical perspective as another culture. How might leadership handle a dilemma complicated by cross-cultural factors? What considerations should be considered under such circumstances? And as a side consideration, should the focus simply be on what's mandated by an Employee Handbook, and all other variables and factors not considered?
