Persuavive Speech

Giving a speech really requires being great at two things; planning and executing. The outline allows you to conduct research, map out your organization, and to plan your main points and thoughts. However, a great outline, a well-researched topic, or an excellent plan all comes down to the execution of the speech. 

Initial Response: Watch the following informative speech below. For your initial response, use the grading rubric below, that will be utilized to grade speeches for this class to grade the speech. Provide the category, rating, and your rationale, using support from the textbook.  

Peer Responses: Choose two peers who had differing grading opinions on an area than you did. Discuss and probe why you disagree (respectfully) with their grading.
