Performing Arts Description and Pitch
Scenario: You have encountered an online debate about which of the performing arts is best. As a soon-to-be graduate of this class, you have decided to weigh in.
First, take a moment to think about all the movies and plays you have watched and reflect on the concerts and musical performances you have attended throughout your life. Which of these had the greatest impact on you and why?
Next, provide an example of your favorite movie, play, concert, and dance performance and describe these genres in the matrix below. Look at the basic structure of each art form and relate it to the example you selected. Be sure to describe examples of how the art form is used and include some of the terminology you have learned in this course.
Note: Your description of each genre should be 100-150 words and described in a way that will make sense to others.
