Individual research paper

For this assignment, you will write a paper focusing on any organization related to the "design essentials" of organization theory.  Pick a topic "Individual Research Topics" document.  Based on your topic, select  2 of the 6 ‘design essentials’ for your paper:

1. Tools to adapt to a changing environment.
2. The role of managers in shaping organizations to perform well and meet the needs of society.
3. Designing organizations to achieve both efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Organization design elements: the technical core, top management, middle management, technical support, and administrative support.
5. Mechanistic versus organic organization design.
6. Open organization systems that interact with the environment.

Directions for Submission

• Using this information, the Assignment Rubric and the Individual Research Topics are attached, develop a 3-4 pages (not including your title page and reference pages) APA formatted paper in a word document of your choice.
• Please be sure to cite and reference theories or concepts from class as well as outside research.
• For the Paper, have a clear introduction (state the purpose (thesis statement) in this section), body, and conclusion to your work (summarize key points from each section of the paper).
