Step by Step Guide on How to Format your Assignments
Step 1: Create a Professional Cover Page
· Each assignment must have a cover page.
· The cover should include:
· An image that is related to the assignment topic.
· Your name.
· The instructor's name.
· The name of the college.
· The due date of the assignment.
· The title of the assignment.
· Keep the text on the cover page at a font size no larger than 14.
· You can choose any font style you prefer for the cover page, as long as it maintains a professional appearance.
Step 2: Format the Assignment Content
· Use Times New Roman, 12-point font for the main content of the assignment.
· Double-space the entire document.
· Write paragraphs that are 5 to 6 lines long. Shorter or longer paragraphs can make it difficult for the reader to stay engaged with your paper.
Step 3: Include a Reference Page
· Include a separate reference page at the end of your assignment.
· Use APA Style, 7th edition for all citations.
· This is crucial to ensure that you properly credit the authors of the resources you use and avoid plagiarism.
Step 4: Avoid Plagiarism
· Use your own words as much as possible when writing the assignment.
· If the plagiarism report shows anything other than a green low-risk level, the assignment will not be accepted, and it will receive an automatic zero.
· Properly cite all sources and give credit to original authors to ensure your work meets academic integrity standards.

Operational Manual: Systems and Processes to Operate a Child Care Center Support Document
I want to emphasize the importance of thoroughly reviewing all materials in Module 2. Please take the time to read each document carefully, watch each video, and review all articles provided. It’s essential that you understand the content fully, as it will be crucial for your success in completing your Operations Manual.
Additionally, I encourage you to read the Operations Manual instructions very carefully. This document outlines the specific requirements and expectations for your assignment.Taking the time to engage with these resources will significantly enhance your understanding and ability to create a comprehensive and effective Operations Manual.
To support you in completing your assignment, I have decided to provide a template as a guide. While you are not required to use it, I highly recommend it for its structured approach.
Template Description:
Each section of the template includes three parts to complete. For example, in
Section 1
Registration, (you will find):
● Overview: Describe the center's registration process, including required documentation, fees, and timelines for new children enrolling.
● Content Placeholder: Here, you will enter specific details about the registration process. ● Policy: This section outlines the established guidelines regarding the registration process,
ensuring consistency and alignment with the center’s mission.
To Clarify the Difference:
● The Content Placeholder is where you detail specific elements of the registration process.
● The Policy refers to the rules and guidelines that govern how the registration process should be implemented and monitored.
The template also includes two covers: the first is for your assignment submission to me, and the second serves as the main page of your manual. When you submit your manual, you will need to
include both covers. However, when you use the manual for your daycare, you will only use the second cover.
As you develop your manual, please ensure it is detailed, well-documented, and creatively designed, as this will be the manual for your own daycare. When you insert images, remember to remove the instructions immediately after adding your content. I expect professionalism in your work, and I will not accept any unprofessional or incomplete manuals. If you wish to add more sections that you believe are important to the operations of your daycare, please feel free to do so.

Whole Leadership Framework FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS SERVING CHILDREN FROM BIRTH THROUGH AGE EIGHT
ABOUT WHOLE LEADERSHIP In 2017, the McCormick Center for Early Childhood Leadership at National Louis University developed the framework with voices from the field to define the critical components of early childhood leadership and to ensure consistent approaches to leadership standards and competencies. In 2023, the framework was revised by Building on Whole Leadership: Energizing and Strengthening Your Early Childhood Program authors (Masterson, M.L., Talan, T.N., & Bella, J.M.) in response to current research, the needs of the profession, and feedback from the field. The book provides a variety of tools that can be used by administrators to enhance their core knowledge, skills, and behaviors to foster effective and thriving early childhood organizations.
