There are   two words that have importance related to sample selection. They are   “representative” and “generalize”. If simple random sampling is the ideal   means of achieving a representative sample, why is it not universally used in   research? Using examples of probability and non-probability sampling   methodology, demonstrate why the strengths and weaknesses of certain sampling   methodologies make them more appropriate for either quantitative or   qualitative research studies.
