Hello everyone, I am not sure if anyone else can consider fishing a sport, but it is a great hobby of mine. There are many places I love to deep sea fish. During certain times of the year, there are major competitions and prizes can range from a car to $300,000 dollars. I am nowhere near the professionals that participate in these competitions, but I have brought in my fair share of blue marlin and sailfish. There is something magical about being out surrounded by blue water and the feeling of peacefulness. It is amazing how small and insignificant we really are when you are out and can't see land from the fishing vessel. Mother nature is incredible.
