Part A

Complete the following tasks:

  • Using the Argosy University online library resources, the Internet, and your readings, research on the file application programming interface (API) and the Indexed Database (IndexedDB) API.
  • In a 2- to 3-page Microsoft Word document, describe the capabilities provided by the two APIs.
  • Save the documents as M4_A2_Lastname_Firstname_Capabilites.doc.

Part B

Complete the following tasks:

  • Create an HTML file that provides the following functionalities:
    • A pull-down list displaying at least three major US cities.
    • When the user selects a city, display a map of the city marking a point of interest within the city.
  • Save the HTML file as M4_A2_Lastname_Firstname_Geolocation.html.

Submission Details:

  • Your final deliverable will include a Microsoft Word document and an HTML file. Compress the two files in a zipped folder and name it as M4_A2_Lastname_Firstname.zip.
  • By the due date assigned, submit the zipped folder to the Submissions Area.
